A reminder that the new Fintan story is serialized right here on this advertising-free blog. More on that in a minute. Make sure you check the chapter number and that you've not skipped any. I'll try to post a chapter(s) at about 5PM PST each day. The first two books, Spineless and Cancer In the Family are available at lulu.com.
Speaking of novel approaches...
Although it's based in the US, the guy who owns Lulu also owns the Hamilton TigerCats of the Canadian Football League. The same TiCats, for whom Hall-of-Famer Angelo Mosca once played. The same 73 year-old Angelo Mosca who was knocked unconscious by Joe Kapp while on the dais at a Grey Cup dinner a week or so ago. Big Angelo had gone upside Joe's head with his cane... his cane. The self-same Joe Kapp who later appeared in both M.A.S.H and the original The Longest Yard and whose website bio entitled "The Toughest Chicano" says this.
"Joe Kapp is a well-known and highly respected personality in the United States, Canada and the Bay Area." (he gets the hyphen right in well-known and then screws it up 2 words later)
Yes it appears Chicano Joe has done what centuries of earthquakes could not. He has separated the San Francisco Bay Area from the United States. That's one tough hombre, alright.
So make Joe and Angelo proud and their humiliation worthwhile. Download a book, much as Joe downloaded Angelo's dentures, at Lulu.com.

Could this happen at an NFL banquet? In the No Fun League? Of course not. You all know now why we affectionately refer to the CFL as Cold-cocked Football Legends.
Ah, the advertising: Google Adsense has disabled the ads on this blog because I encouraged you guys to visit them. Lili and I are are concerned that the loss of the $1.00 a day might mean that Mitch doesn't go to Harvard next year and Kate can't have that operation she's been hounding us for.
